Burn Instructions
Soy wax has a memory and the first burn is an important one! We recommend burning your candle in 3-4 hour sessions, or until the melt pool reaches the edges of the container. This will ensure that all of the wax melts down the sides of the container.
- Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" between burns.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep candle away from children, pets, drafts and flammable objects.
- Take a minute to read the safety label on the bottom of the candle
Are all soy candles soot free?
No, anything that has a flame has the ability to produce soot. We test all of our fragrances and wicks for as little soot as possible (often times, we see none) however, burning environment does play a role in the amount of soot, if any, that is produced. Keep your candle away from drafts, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time and trim your wick between burns.
How strong are your candles?
We test each and every fragrance for maximum scent throw for the size of the container we are using. When you light your candle, the scent comes from the melt pool. Jars with larger diameters will fill larger spaces. Small diameter jars will do best in smaller rooms. For very large spaces, multiple candles may be needed depending on strength desired.
About our Ingredients
All of our candles are made with pure soy wax and our melts are a soy blend. We use high quality fragrance oils and cotton wicks.
Why is my candle turning yellow?
UV light and florescent lighting can cause fading and yellowing on candles over time. This does not affect the quality of the burn or scent throw. To avoid this, keep your candles away from direct sunlight.
Processing Times
Current processing times are listed at the top of the home page and are subject to change. Most candles and melts are made to order and this time is needed to pour your candles and let them cure. If you have a concern about a delivery date to meet a birthday, anniversary, etc, please send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate you.
